Cookie Policy
Like most websites, this website does use some cookies when you browse the site. These are used to ensure the proper running of this website, and also to help me ensure your experience on the site is the best it can be. None of the information this site gathers via cookies identifies you as an individual – it is all entirely anonymous.
If you leave a comment on a blog post or page on this site, then a cookie may be stored to ‘remember’ your email address for the next time you post (should you choose the “remember me” option).
If you take part in a poll on this site, a cookie may be stored to ‘remember’ your IP address so that you can only vote once on each poll.
To understand how people use this site, I use Google Analytics. Most websites use some sort of analytics program like this. The data it collects helps me see things like how many people visit the site, which country they are from, how many pages they visited, which pages visitors find the most useful, and how fast the site loaded. All data collected is completely anonymous, it does not identify you as an individual in any way.
You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website.
Changes to this privacy policy
I may update this privacy policy from time to time in line with website changes that might affect the personal information I gather about you. This policy is effective from April 2013.
